У статті запропоновано комплексну методологію оцінки готовності країн до переходу до парадигми Society 5.0, яка інтегрує технологічні, соціальні та екологічні виміри цифрової трансформації. Обґрунтовано концептуальні засади конструювання композитного індексу Society 5.0 Readiness Index на основі міжнародних стандартів OECD. На основі систематичного порівняльного аналізу існуючих індексів цифровізації виявлено їхню обмеженість для оцінювання Society 5.0 та розроблено п'ятивимірну структуру індексу. Систематизовано методологічні рішення щодо відбору індикаторів, нормалізації даних, визначення системи ваг та агрегування. Ідентифіковано п'ять категорій специфічних методологічних викликів оцінювання Society 5.0 readiness з розробкою відповідних методологічних рішень.
