EVOLUTION OF THE CONCEPT OF "DIGITAL ECONOMY"

The article identifies the peculiarities of the process of digitization of the economy in the scientific literature. The content of digitalization is revealed in this research. This article describes the main digital technologies and trends in their use in various industries and spheres of the modern socio-economic environment. Thе study advances understanding of penetration of digital technologies into all spheres of our existence and they influence the elements of the economic system. Considerable attention is paid to key role of sustainable development is smart growth built on knowledge, innovation, and inclusive solutions. The authors trace the process of development the humanistic role of digital technologies in the economy of a socially oriented state. The article gives a detailed analysis of digitization and their conceptual role in sustainable development. The subject matter of the study is the analysis of digitization in modern society. The practical significance of the article lies in the possibilities of using the author's conclusions in further scientific research on the problems of the digital economy and in the teaching of theoretical and economic disciplines.
