CURRENT TRENDS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF TRANSPORT INSURANCE IN UKRAINE

The article analyzes the indicators that characterize the current state of development of transport insurance in Ukraine, in particular, analyzes the dynamics of insurance premiums and payments for the relevant types of insurance over the past 4 years. The main components of this type of insurance are studied: automobile (motor), sea, aviation and cargo and luggage insurance. Each of the considered components has specific features that distinguish it from other types of property insurance. The main problems that have a negative and destabilizing impact on the development of transport insurance are identified and ways to overcome them are proposed.
